Guatemala City
Zona 11 vs Zona 14: Where Should You Stay in Guatemala City?

They're closer than you'd think
Zona 11 and Zona 14 sit right next to each other on Guatemala City's more modern, residential south side - both a world away from the older, denser Zona 1 downtown core, and both a short drive from La Aurora International Airport (GUA).
Zona 11: Parque San Jorge
Our Zona 11 apartments are in Parque San Jorge, a newly built residential complex with a shared pool, gym, co-working lounge and 24/7 controlled access. It's a quieter, more residential feel - good if you want a real neighborhood base rather than a tourist strip, with Mercado Roosevelt and everyday supermarkets close by.
Zona 14: closer to the restaurants and Paseo Cayalá
Zona 14 sits nearer Paseo Cayalá, Guatemala City's walkable outdoor shopping and restaurant plaza built to look like a small colonial town, plus most of the city's best-reviewed restaurants. Our Zona 14 apartment is a large 3-bedroom with airport and volcano views, built for groups or families who want more space and to be closer to that scene.
Airport distance
Both are close - Zona 14 is marginally nearer La Aurora, but the difference in drive time is usually only a few minutes either way depending on traffic.
So which one?
If you want a pool, gym and co-working space built into the building and a slightly lower cost of stay, go Zona 11. If you want to be walking distance from Paseo Cayalá's restaurant scene and need more bedrooms for a group, go Zona 14. Message us on WhatsApp with your dates and group size and we'll tell you honestly which one actually fits - we'd rather you end up in the right apartment than just the one we happen to be pushing.
